The “Master of Complications” and poster boy of “neo-vintage”, this reference 7000 CC chronograph is many things, beautifully executed, all at once. An identity all its own, classically styled, and practical utility elegantly executed. Case: The 39 x 47 x 13 mm stainless steel case is thick, even, clean, and exhibiting very light use, void of any notable imperfections. The prominent, signature lugs hug the wrist well to appeal to wrists large and small. Dial: The dial is pure class with an inner textured silver dial and outer white minutes and tachymeter scales, evoking the sector style dials of classic iconic chronographs. Add in blued hands, applied dots or nipples at the hours, and the prominent blued Breguet “12”, and you have the makings of a pretty perfect classic chronograph dial. The dial is free from any imperfections. Movement: Beating inside is the venerable Valjoux 7750 workhorse of movement, winding, setting, and running smoothly, at approximately 0 s/d averaged across six positions. Service history is unknown.
