F.P. JOURNE Octa Divine Lune, case no. 152-05D, circa 2005 A superb and rare, large, water-resistant, automatic, tonneau-shaped, platinum wristwatch with two-tone dial, painted black radial Arabic numerals, constant second, moon phases, power reserve indication, large two-digit date, blued steel hands, leather strap and platinum F.P. Journe buckle. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 38 mm. Thickness 10.40 mm. The F.P. Journe Octa Divine Lune in platinum with a 38mm case was introduced around 2003–2004. This model is part of the Octa collection, which debuted in 2001, and features an automatic movement with a moon phase complication. The early versions of the Octa Divine Lune were equipped with the caliber 1300, a rhodium-plated brass movement, and were housed in 38mm platinum cases. In 2004–2005, F.P. Journe transitioned to using 18k rose gold movements, caliber 1300.2 (such as the present watch) and introduced larger case sizes of 40mm. However, some 38mm platinum cases with the new rose gold movements were produced during this transitional period, making them particularly rare and sought after by collectors. Production of the 38mm Octa Divine Lune models ceased around 2015, when F.P. Journe discontinued the 38mm case size across its collections. The present watch has been fully serviced at F.P. Journe manufactory, very recently.
