The blue dial is polished to a mirror finish, with luminous hands and radial Arabic numeral hour markers, wit h an outer railroad-style minute track. It has a subsidiary small seconds dial between the 7 and 8 o'clock positions. It includes the Certified Official Swiss Chronometer (COSC) rating. Journe caliber 1304 movement is constructed of 18K rose gold, including the base plate and bridges. They have “fausses côtes” embellishment. The main plate features a guilloche grain d’orge (barleycorn) pattern, and the gold bridges are finished with Geneva stripes and polished bevelled angles. It has twin barrels, 22 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a 4-arm balance with 4 adjustable timing weights, and the connecting train is hidden underneath the dial. The monometallic balance is adjusted in 6 positions, with a self-compensating free-sprung balance spring. The balance has four inertia weights, a flat Anachron micro-flamed spring, and mobile stud holders. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz). Tantalum metal is dark grey with blue overtones; it's nicknamed "black chrome." It's difficult to utilize in watchmaking because of its very high density, and extremely high fusion temperature of 3,800 degrees F. It's non-allergenic with tremendous resistance to corrosion, and it's as heavy as platinum; it takes approximately five times longer to make a tantalum case than it does to make a platinum case. This watch was introduced in 2009.
