A very sought after watch, in close to immaculate all-original unpolished condition. Last service unknown but watch has been controlled and cleaned: it runs accurately, amplitude is good. Normal functions of the watch are covered by our 6 months warranty, see T&C.
This Eterna Matic KonTiki Super (approx. 1973) is the rare "civilian" version. Most collectors know this watch for the IDF (Israeli defense forces), with the engravings (some civilian versions were used by crooks, and got engraved with IDF infos, but that is another story).
Note that the bezel luminescent insert is in perfect, original condition, so is the aluminum bezel, so is the dial, and are the second, minute, and hour hand. You even have the original protective transparent sticker at the back, so that the caseback medallion is 10/10. As if this was not enough, you even get the rare opportunity to have this watch with its original and complete milanese steel bracelet, with folding clasp (folding, on a spring)
Case has minor scratches on the left and right side, and there is one at the bottom right lug, just below "20". Of course, I could refresh all of this, and with laser welding machine make it perfect, but hey, it's over 50 years old, and I do value authenticity regarding condition, and hope you do too.
Note that original gaskets turned into black chewing-gum when I first opened the watch (see picture), therefore case and caseback were gently cleaned by hand. This watch certainly could become waterproof again, were one to replace crown and caseback gasket. Also, bracelet is installed all the way back: for larger wrists, there is still 15mm extra length if you move the pin (4 holes).
Laser welding / polishing service/servicing the movement/new gaskets can be requested, at extra cost. Write to me to know more about this.
