This piece retains its original WWII dial, hands and movement, with a replacement case and crystal in excellent condition. The watch had been overhauled in Japan in its time and still shows strong performance on the timegrapher. Diameter is 32 mm with 16 mm lugs, faithful to the wartime specifications. It carries the unmistakable screw down “canteen cap” crown with chain, the hallmark of this iconic design. It comes fitted with a Praesidus military green canvas strap of 16 mm, practically new, which perfectly matches the watch’s combat heritage. A cornerstone in the history of military diving watches and a must have for any serious WWII military watch collection.
