It lay in the jewelry box for decades, as my grandfather continued to wear his old watch! The 36mm case of the watch is like new and has no wear on the gold plating! There are no scratches from storage. The pushers and crown are also in perfect condition. The original glass is in very good condition. The case back shows no signs of wear. The dial is excellent... It has the golden hue you'd expect, but the two sub-dials are gray! This contrast looks really cool. The hands are in perfect condition and the watch runs flawlessly. The Valjoux 7733 chronograph movement with 17 jewels is absolutely flawless! This watch is exceptionally well preserved and the movement is the cleanest I have ever seen. The watch can be wound, the chronograph starts and stops perfectly, and the watch runs strongly. It currently keeps accurate time, but due to long storage it should be serviced before regular use. The genuine crocodile leather strap in a stunning shade of gray matches the gray sub-dials perfectly and looks great! The bracelet is new, unworn and is complemented by a gold-plated metal strap. This watch would make a great addition to any serious watch collection, and it is simply impossible to find an original chronograph in such condition!
