EDWARD PRIOR, SILVER TRIPLE-CASE POCKET WATCH, ENGLAND 1839

Three-case watch: the first, an external case made of silver, covered in tortoiseshell and silver studs, 62 mm in diameter; the second, entirely made of silver, 52 mm in diameter; and the third, a silver case with a basin, 44 mm in diameter. The dial is a white enamel dial with Turkish numerals, signed Edward Prior London. The hands are burnished steel. The movement, signed no. 63356, has a verge escapement and a highly detailed cock. The watch is currently in working order, but has no key.
