Ebel Sport Classic

Description

1998 Ladies Ebel Sport Classic with box and papers

The Sport Classic is probably the watch that most people associate Ebel with, thanks to the unique and comfortable bracelet. HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH? From the supplied paperwork we can accurately date this watch to being sold on Christmas Eve 1998. The receipt showing a selling price of £850 is also included. CONDITION Ebel are a bit of a sleeper brand, certainly in the UK. They have everything going for them except a wide acknowledgement of how nice they are. For example, the only other two brands that use the same movement as this watch are Cartier and Jaeger-LeCoultre, which cost multiples of this Ebel. The trademark bracelet is both a fantastic piece of engineering and comfortable, it’s sculptural shape bouncing light off it very nicely. The condition is excellent, with just a few very minor marks that you should expect on any not new watch. The bracelet has the original hidden clasp, and the crown is also the original part. We will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner, which is done via the front on these. These are a bit of a bargain when compared with similar quality quartz watches from Cartier or Omega, so this is a win win situation. This watch will be supplied with the original presentation box, papers including the instruction book for the Sport Classic, and our Certificate of Authenticity.
