Doxa Sub 58098-59

Description

Doxa Sub Sub300T Sharkhunter / White Shark

The watch has developed over the years a very nice caramel colored patina on the lume filled hands and the indices (but of course nothing glows there anymore) the case has various traces of use, just like the bezel (the bezel has the decompression indications in the meter) The color from the wells of the numbers is mostly out, just like on the pip of the 12 - no color/lume left. For this the doxa has an original Expandro Beads of Rice bracelet, the Expandro links still have full spring power and the unsigned clasp has a dive extension that is also still working ! According to Dr. Peter Mc Clean Millar book " doxa sub Forty Years - 1967 - 2007" the clasp is without imprint from the Aqualung Doxas (page 17) The revision history is not known, but the watch runs wonderfully without any abnormalities, date quickset it already has, date jumps cleanly at midnight. The glass was replaced in January, the old one had discoloration. The crown is not screwed (at that time there were 3 different cases, this one belongs to those with non-screwed crown) Water resistance can of course not be guaranteed after all these years ! The bottom cover has the Synchron logo, the lugs have the number 7720-10 stamped on them, so all original !The watch has developed over the years a very nice caramel colored patina on the lume filled hands and the indices (but of course nothing glows there anymore) the case has various traces of use, just like the bezel (the bezel has the decompression indications in the meter) The color from the wells of the numbers is mostly out, just like on the pip of the 12 - no color/lume left.
