Launched in 2023 as a celebration of Miffy, the iconic Dutch cartoon rabbit, the “Miff(any) Blue” was created by Dutch watchmakers De Rijke as part of their driver’s watch collection, and limited to only 100 pieces. Boasting Bauhaus-inspired design language as communicated through its 38mm stainless steel case with small lugs and a thin understated bezel. Featuring a large rotatable dial (to give its wearer the option of wearing it as a normal watch or a driver’s watch), the Miff(an)y Blue boasts a bright shade of turquoise blue, with a large moonphase aperture at 12 o’clock that features Miffy sitting on the moon itself. An interesting watch with a unique design language that ties in a character that we don’t often, if ever, see in watchmaking, the Miff(an)y Blue is an interesting watch that is both wearable and fun. THE CONSTRUCTION Featuring a Bauhaus-inspired construction, the Miffy Moonphase's 38mm stainless steel case has an understated profile with its slim bezel and short lugs, but its crow at 1 o'clock reveals its true nature as a driver's watch, with its dial being fully rotatable within the case.
