The colour differences are not alterations but lighting effects. The photos are taken in macro mode; some imperfections due to old techniques or the wear of the vintage watch are visible in the photos but invisible to the naked eye. The photos are an integral part of the description. All our vintage watches are archived, appraised, photographed and have been revised or restored in our workshop. Vintage military Cyma watch in stainless steel ordered and manufactured for the British Ministry of Defence (MoD), equipped with caliber 234 with small seconds function, manual winding movement. Matte black dial in very good condition, stamped Arabic numerals "Broad Arrow" (property of the British army), original luminous hands and indexes, railway chronometer. Two‑piece case, unpolished, screwed back marked WWW (Watch Wristlet Waterproof) and bearing military serial numbers. Dimensions: 38 mm (excluding crown) × 44.5 mm (including lugs); the movement is signed and numbered. Twelve manufacturers offered models that met the MoD criteria: Buren, Cyma, Eterna, Grana, Jaeger‑LeCoultre, Lemania, Longines, IWC, Omega, Record, Timor and Vertex – commonly called The Dirty Dozen after the 1967 Robert Aldrich film "The Dirty Dozen".
