This storied mvoement was used by Top Tier brands in some of their most prestigious models of the 1980s and 1990's. Among these, AP used the LWO-283 movement (re-branded as Caliber 2226/2840) in their very first Royal Oak Offshore chronographs One of the coolest features about the LWO-283 Calibre is an innovative date display with an integrated magnifier as part of the movement itself, avoiding the need for an external lens (cyclops) on the crystal. This watch is in original unpolished condition, remarkably well preserved for its age and vintage. All original brand stampings, reference/serial numbers, and hallmarks are deep and readable with naked eye. All pictures are of actual watch. Additional Details: 38mm 18k rose gold case with solid caseback white dial with 18k gold baton hour markers, 18k hour/minute hands automatic movement with full function chronograph, date indication with integrated magnifier (not a cyclops on crystal) original Concord stamped alligator strap with original Concord 18k rose gold tang buckle. Both strap and buckle feature Concord brand stampings and hallmarks. Underside of Strap shows signs of wear.
