I have here for sale a classic 2000s Chronoswiss Tora GMT Chronometer automatic Chronograph with a remarkable combination of a guilloche sterling silver dial and a 38mm vintage inspired steel case. The AR (anti-reflective) coated sapphire crystal is framed by an onion fluted bezel that captures the light from any room you are in. On the bottom of the case is a large exhibition caseback in sapphire crystal that showcases the perlage and geneva stripes decorated Caliber c.743 with gold plated skeletonized rotor. On the sterling silver dial, black breguet numerals mark the hours and four different guilloche and brushed finishes separate the subdials from the main clock. Breguet style hands tell the hours, needle hands tell the seconds, sword style hands are used to indicate the date and chronograph minutes. All the hands are mirror polished and heat blued. The date is adjustable both forwards and backwards on the first crown placement. The GMT function is operated with the heat blued pusher at 10 o'clock. It is displayed on the dial in a day and night 24 hour subial where the running second hand also runs. A pair of 20mm beige top grain calf leather straps with tan calfskin lining will be provided with the watch. The watch runs perfectly and keeps good time. Date, chronograph and GMT all function as intended. The dial is in perfect condition. The AR coating on the crystal still works beautifully, it almost looks like there's no glass there when viewed from certain angles. Most of the time, it is kept in a moisture controlled box, and is only used on formal occasions.
