A beautiful and rare early “Patent Pending” Certina DS Automatic from the first year of production (between 1959 and 1960) The early models are recognizable by the flat patent pending case back, the dauphine hands and the caliber 25-45. The one offered here is especially rare with the raised index ring on the dial, offering a style similar to the Omega “Pie Pan” or the Universal Genève Polerouter, two iconic watches of he 1950s.
