Here we have a 1970s Certina Jubile Blue Dial Manual Cal. 396, featuring a round 34mm stainless steel case that comfortably fits your wrist, with fine, tapered, angled lugs. Its curved flanks lead to a lug-to-lug length of 41mm and a case thickness of just 6mm. On the right side, a signed crown. A chamfered-edged smooth bezel holds a flat crystal above a vertically brushed blue dial. Applied slim batons mark the hours, and fine sword hands sit majestically in the centre. At noon, we have the Certina motif, and at 6 o’clock, Jubilé completes this striking minimalist timepiece. On the reverse, a solid case back and inside a manually wound Certina Cal. 396, 17 jewels beating at 21,600, based on the Peseux 7001. It comes paired with a well-suited 18mm quick-release strap and pin buckle.
