Cartier Calibre de Cartier ref. W7100041 / 3389 automatic men’s watch with a 42mm stainless steel case in exceptionally clean condition. The watch presents almost like new overall, with crisp case lines and very little visible wear throughout. The only noticeable imperfections are two small marks on the caseback. The black dial features Cartier’s signature oversized Roman numerals, outer minute track, date at 3 o’clock, and small seconds register at 6. The sapphire crystal is clean and free of distracting scratches. Powering the watch is Cartier’s in-house caliber 1904-PS MC automatic movement visible through the sapphire display back. The movement is running properly and all functions operate as they should. Service history is unknown, although the watch appears to have seen very light use over its lifetime. The winding action feels smooth and the quickset date operates correctly. The watch has a very sharp overall appearance and retains the refined but sporty look that made the Calibre de Cartier line so popular. The combination of brushed and polished surfaces gives the case a substantial feel without being overly bulky on the wrist.
