Cartier Privé Tank Normale WGTA0111 Platinum Charity Auction for Water for South Sudan NO PREMIUM Water for South Sudan (WFSS) is an International Non-Government non-profit corporation founded by Salva Dut, a former “Lost Boy of Sudan.” Salva was forced to flee his village when he was just 11 years old. After spending 10 years in refugee camps, he came to the US and began a new life. After learning his father was alive but gravely ill from waterborne disease, he founded Water for South Sudan and began changing lives in South Sudan. Amidst challenges of conflict, food scarcity, displacement, a changing climate, and economic instability, water scarcity remains a critical issue in rural communities in South Sudan, with 60 percent of the population lacking access to safe water. With local leadership and staff, WFSS is helping to develop the young nation of South Sudan and bring greater stability to the country and region. WFSS empowers communities by providing access to clean water, hygiene, and sanitation (WASH) and improving health, educational, and economic opportunities for all, especially girls and women. Our local team’s 20 years of experience in South Sudan has resulted in WASH projects providing access to clean water for more than half a million people daily.
