Cartier Santos Galbée 1564

In addition to the previously presented 1980’s and 1990’s two-tone Santos models, we also have this wonderful specimen to offer. A relatively recent rendition of the Santos from the early to mid 00’s, this time manufactured entirely in stainless steel and featuring the more modern butterfly folding clasp and beautiful off-white colored dial. The stainless steel case with its integrated bracelet are in as-good-as-new condition, with beautiful polished and brushed finishes that alternate on the case and bezel, and on the links of the bracelet against those rounded, signature Cartier screws. This Santos has the style of Cartier’s more modern versions, but because of its size of 29x41mm, it still wears like a classic men’s size Santos (in comparison to the larger versions’ which in our humble opinion are almost awkward in size). The clean, off-white colored dial is adorned with Cartier’s most classic, black Roman numerals and black ‘rail-track’ minute track. However, the gorgeous blue hands which elegantly match the blue sapphire cabochon crown, add some subtle color to the mix making for a chic ensemble. This Santos is powered by Cartier’s tried-and-tested quartz caliber which delivers supreme accuracy, but also ensures a snug fit on the wrist, and for instance under your shirts cuff. Because of the quartz movement, the case, and basically the entire profile of the watch, is very slim, chic and therefor a forever Cartier classic.
