CIRCA 1912, RESOLD BY CARTIER LONDON CIRCA 1930
Movement: 19J, manual wind, signed European Watch & Clock Co Inc, numbered 26,xxx (possible replacement movement fitted by Cartier London circa 1930).
Case: Measures approx. 39.3 by 39.3mm (excluding the stem and bow), marked EJ, French eagles head hallmark, five sets of numbers, one set matching the case back and case top, London stock number.
Cartier have a history of buying back and reselling some of their most iconic and historical pieces. After extensive research, we believe this watch is an example of this, being restored by Cartier London around 1930 for them to resell in their New Bond Street boutique.
