The watch is fitted with a levitating double tourbillon that can be observed through the aperture and it would appear as though it defies the law of gravitational forces. To design such a clever illusion, Cartier adopts 2 layers of anti-reflective sapphire discs that power the double tourbillon separately. Both sapphire crystals rotate separately one every 60 seconds and one every 5 minutes.
