The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. All diamonds are nice and intact. The watch is in excellent overall condition with only extremely minor signs of wear. The folding clasp is in excellent overall condition with minor wear only.
Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of time and may need a service at the buyer's expense. Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement and we do not guarantee the authenticity of any individual component parts since subsequent repairs and restoration work may have resulted in the replacement of original parts.

" Introduced in 1967, the Crash resists the limitation of shape and time, expressing its creative elegance through an abstract design, redefining the regular conducts of watchmaking history. The present example is encased in white gold and embellished with diamonds, capturing the charm of femininity with its extraordinary sensation. Always released with a very limited production the Cartier Crash is a rare treasure to add to any watch collection.
Consigned by an important collector, the watch is in an excellent state of preservation and rare still as it still retains all original accessories.
