Launched in 1967, the Crash de Cartier model has become a watchmaking icon in the world of women's time, featuring a damaged watch which, according to legend, was the source of the first inspiration.
All productions since then have always been confidential and our diamond-paved model is a perfect example of this in the manufacture of fine jewelry watches by the Cartier house since the 1990s.
Our example can be compared to the Crash wristwatch, Cartier 1993 appearing in the Cartier collections and illustrated in the book, la Collection Cartier Horlogerie, François Chaille, Franco Cologni, Flammarion editions, p. 481 (Inv. ST-WCL 9189 A93).
