Wearing this model on your wrist makes you more interesting than the usual Tank user. You get a lot of Cartier for the buck! This watch is working fine, and has all the original parts. The lug pins are new! On this Cartier model, the small screws that fixates the lug pins can be a hassle if the threads are broken. Also - the, of course original, strap is very hard to find for this model. The strap fits my 17cm wrist, when using the second tightest hole. The Buckle is goldplated silver which is the original combination, even if the bezel is solid 18 carat. Inside there is a Cartier 690 quartz caliber ticking. These calibers are very reliable. The Cartier Vendôme was introduced around 1973 as a tribute to the eponymous Parisian square, a meeting place for jewellers and watchmakers. The two lugs evoke the two streets leading to Place Vendôme: rue de la Paix and rue de Castiglione. I know that the designer also was inspired by horse saddle details.
