Cartier Vendôme, Reference 78090 A yellow gold wristwatch, Circa 1978 Dial: white Calibre: cal. 78-1 mechanical, 17 jewels Case: 18k yellow gold, snap on case back Case number: 1’744 Closure: brown Cartier lizard strap and gilt stainless steel folding clasp Size: 32.5 mm diameter Signed: case, dial and movement Accessories: none After the complete reunification of the European Cartier brand under Robert Hocq and Alain Dominique Perrin in the early part of the 70s, a brand new structure of watchmaking was introduced to mark the momentous occasion. After nearly half a century apart, the entire Cartier entity was now focused on one main offering: the Louis Cartier collection. One of the model lines introduced as part of this initiative was the Vendôme, which has become a cult classic in recent times. The round, stepped case with lugless design gave the watch a seamless and elegant design, while also allowing it to wear extremely well on any wrist size. The present example features an intact “Mark II” dial, dating it to the second half of the 70s.卡地亞 Vendôme 型號78090 黃金腕錶,約1975年製
