Not in 18k gold but in 925 Silver with an 18k goldplating. The French call this "Vermeil". The first editions were with a mechanical or handwind movement and since 1983 with a quartz (battery) movement. Since silver is a soft metal: you can easily get scratches or dents in the case. Not with this pretty Tank. Yes it has some tiny tiny scratches but not visible with the naked eye and the goldplating is in excellent (original) condition. This watch has hardly ever been worn in the last 40 years. The pretty showstopper in the gallery above is from the late 1980's. It just had a complete service overhaul and new battery. That means that you don't have to change the battery for the next 4-5 years and the next complete service is in 8-10 years.
