Its case has been polished in the past, but the sharp bevels remain intact, showcasing careful handling. The bezel, while showing a mix of superficial and deeper scratches, retains its flat surfaces. We opted to leave it unpolished to avoid the rounding effect that can diminish the watch's character, creating a cleaner and more elegant look on the wrist. The case back has also been polished, and while the serial number is faint, it remains legible. The crisp engravings on the back are still visible, and the wear on the case back and screws reflects the natural charm of a watch that has been enjoyed for over 40 years. The red cabochon crown is in excellent condition, adding a vibrant touch to the design.
