PROPERTY FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER Cartier Tank à Vis "CPCP", Reference 2553 A yellow gold wristwatch with date, Circa 2002 Dial: silvered Calibre: cal. 9902 MC mechanical, 24 jewels Case: 18k yellow gold, sapphire crystal display back secured by 8 screws Case number: 025 MG Closure: black Cartier alligator strap and 18k yellow gold folding clasp Size: 40 mm length x 28 mm width Signed: case, dial and movement Accessories: Cartier Certificate, loupe, instruction manual and presentation box The CPCP collection was Cartier's attempt to revitalize the brand's very own traditional watchmaking, focusing on design and mechanism instead of relying on quartz. From 1998 to 2008, Cartier revisited their own archives and brought back old designs, while giving them new meaning. The Tank à Vis was inspired by the Tank Étanche, a waterproof watch featuring tight screws, rumoured to be made for the Pasha de Marrakesh, as he would like to own a watch that he could wear in the pool. The present example features a distinctive bezel fixed with four screws on the corners, while incorporating a fan-shaped hour and date display. This complication is so called the wandering hours - while other examples of the Tank à Vis may feature time only, or a dual time display.卡地亞 Tank à Vis "CPCP" 型號 2553 黃金腕錶,備日期顯示,約2002年製 附帶證書、放大鏡、説明書及盒子
