The design was based on a special waterproof watch designed in the 1930s by Cartier for the Pasha of Marrkesh. The present example features a grille guard covering the dial, a feature that was introduced on watches in WWI to guard the watch against shrapnel. The present example has been customized with diamonds on the bezel and grille guard. This model is a rare Pasha variant and highly collectible. • Condition: Dial is in excellent condition. Case is very good, with scratches. Bezel and grill are custom in gold with aftermarket diamonds. Movement is running at time of cataloging. Overall, the present example is in very good condition.
