Caravelle By Bulova Stunning Vintage Sea Hunter Automatic 35mm Stainless Diver

The Caravelle watch division was introduced to the public in 1962 as a sub‑brand of Bulova to produce watches at more affordable prices for the mass market. For sale is a Caravelle Sea Hunter with reference 665‑1 and a 35 mm steel case, dating from the 1970s. The black dial, with a three‑hour date window, features indices and hands that recall those of the Longines Legend diver and the Nautilus, with the original tritium. The unidirectional bezel is in excellent condition for its age. This Caravelle is equipped with the 11 UPACD caliber, based on the ETA 2472, which offers a frequency of 18,000 vph, 17 jewels and a power reserve of about 42 hours. The watch is shipped with a very nice brown Tropic‑style strap and a generic clasp.
