This is a funky gold Bulova quartz dating to the late seventies Case Gold Plated Dial Gold Box No Papers No Bulova, a prominent American watch brand, has a rich history that dates back to its founding in 1875 by Joseph Bulova, an immigrant from Bohemia (now part of the Czech Republic). Joseph Bulova opened a small jewellery shop in New York City, marking the beginning of the Bulova brand. The store quickly gained a reputation for quality and innovation in watchmaking. Bulova opened its first manufacturing plant in Biel, Switzerland, a hub for watchmaking excellence. This move allowed Bulova to combine Swiss craftsmanship with American innovation. What’s on Offer Dating to 1978 this Bulova quartz is a great example of the funky design style that came with various watches in the 70s. The uniquely shaped case is gold plated and features a nice fluted bezel all in excellent condition. Only minor blemishes can be seen around the watch and case back and has kept beautifully over this long period. The dial also gold ties together nicely with gold hands and hour markers as well as what appears to be black square stones. A light stain can be found situated at 5 o'clock other than that the dial is pristine.
