I bought it because the blue and white is bright and a bit flashy without being gaudy, and I wanted a mostly blue watch that stood out for daily wear with jeans dressed up or down. It would be great for that, but I learned I need to wear smaller watches. I have not worn this since I purchased it and first tried it on. In the few minutes I wore it I was impressed by a couple of things. 1. The band. They are the most comfortable I've worn. The rubber is softer than most bands. The blue leather inlay classes them up better than the pictures show. This is one of two watches I own that I can't improve the band on. 2. Style. I like the Marine Star, and looked at as many of the color combos as I could. This is the most usable and cleanest in my opinion. In real life it meets expectations. It's a great watch, in great shape. I'll get back to looking for one with similar style to replace it. I'd always rather trade than sell. If you have something to trade and are interested let me know.
