Late 19th century, large English pocket watch, marked "The British Centre Seconds Marine Chronograph”, smooth silver case, flawless enamel dial with recessed centre, Roman numerals, minute track and chronograph scale with 1/5 second division, gold-plated hands, blued centre second, can be stopped via a slider on the edge of the case, which stops the movement, gold-plated 4/5 plate movement with pointed tooth lever escapement, compensation balance and flat hairspring, three screwed chatons, key winding, in need of service, D 57 mm, W approx. 213 g.
