Bremont Argonaut ARGONAUT-BL-R

Description

Bremont Argonaut Azure

The Bremont Argonaut Azure is a professional dive watch from the Bremont Armed Forces collection, developed in collaboration with the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence to honour Her Majesty’s Armed Forces. Inspired by the historic “Dirty Dozen” watches commissioned for the British Army during World War II, the model follows strict military-style performance requirements, including chronometer-rated accuracy, robust construction and high water resistance. The watch is housed in a 42mm brushed stainless steel case with a screw-down crown and case back, providing water resistance to 300 metres. A domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial, while an internal rotating bezel - operated by a secondary crown - allows precise measurement of elapsed time during diving. The closed case back is decorated with the heraldic badges of the Royal Navy, British Army, and Royal Air Force, reflecting Bremont’s authorised use of official military insignia. The ocean-blue dial emphasises clarity, with large Arabic numerals and indexes filled with mint-coloured Super-LumiNova. Black hour and seconds hands contrast with an orange minute hand, improving legibility in low-light conditions. Powering the watch is the COSC-certified BE-92AV automatic movement, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a 42-hour power reserve. The Argonaut Azure is completed with an orange rubber strap and stainless steel buckle, reinforcing its nautical character and utilitarian design.
