The case transitioned from an early monobloc to a waterproof snap-back design. Its dial design epitomizes the classic 60s chronograph with a panda layout. Featuring bar indexes and baton hands, it exudes a straightforward Breitling charm. The silver dial with an orange seconds hand adds to its casual character effortlessly. It houses the Venus 188, later known as the Valjoux 7730 movement. Shortly after, it was updated to the 7733, making it relatively scarce in circulation. The case shows storage marks but retains a fantastic proportion with robust lugs. While the dial may appear to have some patina around the luminous markers in photos, it's hardly noticeable to the naked eye. The hands show no signs of deterioration, maintaining the vibrant orange color of the center chronograph hand. It has been disassembled and cleaned by our company, confirming a 48-hour power reserve and +10 seconds accuracy. The Top Time model was first introduced in 1962 and redesigned for relaunch in 1964. Geared towards younger audiences, it aimed to be a preferred choice among peers rather than a watch handed down from fathers.
