Well-built, substantial timepiece. Everything works well, and it is keeping excellent time within chronometer specs on the wrist (It loses 2 seconds overnight in 'dial up' position). It has been worn infrequently for a day or two at a time.
This watch was sold new on Jan. 2, 2002. Seller has owned the watch since 2010, and it was serviced by previous owner just before purchase.
It was very lightly worn the first few years in seller's possession until the bracelet had some additional OEM links added (it now has 14 links). Seller has a 7.5 inch wrist, and there is plenty of room to spare. There is also a diver's wetsuit extension on the bracelet.
Bracelet does have some stretch, but not excessively so (see photos). No strap change damage to the back of the lugs (see photos).
The watch has been worn but not abused: there are some scratches on the clasp (see photo 13), and a small number on the case (see photos 10, 11, 12). Nothing deep, and the matte finish makes them less noticeable. The bezel was removed, reinstalled during service- as 2 of the 8 screws show some wear: specifically, the ones @ the 5 min mark (see photo 12) and the 20 min. mark.

This Superocean is a nice piece of Breitling's history in great shape, particularly so for a nearly 25-year-old watch!
