Breitling has a rich history in crafting dive watches.
This history started in the 1950s, when the brand introduced two watches. The SuperOcean in a time only version and also a chronograph version. This was incredibly novel for the time as no other brand introduced a dive chronograph at that time too.
In the 1960s the design of the SuperOcean changed drastically.
The hands and the indexes got a larger and bolder graphic design language.
It both incapsulated the spirit of the 1960s in terms of design, as the request for an even more easy to read dial.
The watch we are showcasing here is a modern twist of the designcodes from the 1960s. The dial as numerals on it instead of block indexes, which is highly unsual for a SuperOcean model. This being said, it is not a usual SuperOcean. This specific is ultra waterproof an can withstand pressure up to 150 ATM (!). A true tour de force from Breitling.
This watch will be delivered with its original box and papers and has had a full service this year (2024).
