Up for sale we have what could be considered neo-vintage: a lovely Breitling Colt Chronograph, presumably dating back to around 2006. The watch features a beefy 41mm stainless steel case with the distinctive unidirectional Breitling rider tab bezel. The multi-textured black dial contrasts nicely with the bright white Chronograph sub dials. Luminous hands indicate the time on luminous indices, and a calendar window can be found between 4 and 5 O'clock. As indicated on the dial, the watch is chronometer certified and boasts a water resistance of up to 200m/660ft. The Breitling signed crown screws down to create a water tight seal. Fitted to the watch is its original stainless steel Breitling "Professional II" bracelet.
The example sold here has been worn throughout its life, but is still in decent cosmetic condition. You will find normal wear marks on the case and bracelet, but no overly coarse damage. There are a few light scuffs on the crystal as well, but they are not as apparent. The anti-glare coating does a great job, making the crystal appear almost invisible and adding to the sense of depth of the dial. Please study the pictures in this listing well: they show the watch in the condition that it is in, with no digital enhancements to make it look better than it is. We are sure that you like honesty, and so do we. Functionally, the watch has been checked, received a new battery, and is keeping perfect time. Sold as watch only: sadly no original box or paperwork is included with this piece.
All bracelet links are present, allowing the watch to fit wrists with a circumference of approximately 22cm at maximum. Decreasing the size is easily done by removing some bracelet links. In order to extend the bracelet size past the current maximum of 22cm, spare links will have to be sourced online or at a dealership. Alternatively, any generic leather strap or bracelet with 20mm lug width can be fitted to accommodate any wrist size.
