The Colt is one of the last ranges Breitling would continuously update before the series was discontinued in early 2020. Although discontinued, this watch nonetheless embodies the long-standing and widely acclaimed signature of the collection launched in the 1980s, namely a simple, understated and effective style that harkens directly back to its military origins. Breitling's iconic signature rider bezel, the same as on the Chronomat models is still very much a part of the Colt watch. This look was designed to help pilots grasp the bezel more easily when wearing gloves, but also to protect the sapphire crystal from potential shocks.
An excellent condition pre-owned polished finish stainless steel chronometer certified automatic movement 44mm case size gentleman's Breitling Colt Automatic (A17388) featuring a black baton dial housing a date aperture at 3 O'clock surrounded by a satin finish uni-directional 60 minute divers bezel. This watch is powered by a Breitling 17 caliber. A movement known to be reliable and accurate.
