Here is a collector's Breitling: the Chronomat Vintage, bearing reference 769 and displaying the patent inscription 217 012 on the dial, registered in 1940 by Willy Breitling. Its 36 mm steel case houses a well‑preserved black dial, surrounded by the model‑specific markings and the characteristic rotating bezel/disc. The dial, as well as its hands, is in excellent condition. It features the two sub‑dials dedicated to the chronograph function, as well as the large red central chronograph hand. It is equipped with the famous Venus 175 caliber, a manually wound chronograph movement with 17 jewels.
