Description Antique Silver Pocket Watch Engine-turned case, white dial with three subsidiary dials for time, date and month, centre sweep seconds, chain with winder keys • Case diameter 51 mm • Case late 19th century • Fusee movement approximately 1820 • With spurious Breguet signature • In silver Condition The dial and case in good condition. The fusee movement is not running. Abraham-Louis Breguet was a very important innovator in watch movements in the 18th and 19th Centuries, and during his own lifetime many imitations and counterfeits were produced. This antique movement and dial bear a spurious signature commonly seen in the late 18th and early 19th Centuries. The case is antique, but a later addition.
