The fusee movement is not running. Abraham-Louis Breguet was a very important innovator in watch movements in the 18th and 19th Centuries, and during his own lifetime many imitations and counterfeits were produced. This antique movement and dial bear a spurious signature commonly seen in the late 18th and early 19th Centuries. The case is antique, but a later addition.
