From the Breguet archives: "5015: Type XX 14-line chronograph, water-resistant steel case, 15-minute and 12-hour counters. Sold on November 3, 1961 to Mr. Monclin for the price of 450 New Francs". I would like to personally thank Emmanuel Breguet for his always invaluable information. Circa 1960 Diameter 38 mm A sublime civilian version of the Type XX produced by Breguet from the early 1950s to the specifications of the French Ministry of Defense, which wanted a watch that was legible, resistant and equipped with a return-to-flight function for pilots. Its dial, originally matte black, has taken on an attractive brown hue, due to pigment degradation.
