Stainless steel. Bovet, founded in 1822, is renowned for its heritage in fine Swiss watchmaking and exceptional craftsmanship. This steel chronograph version is believed to have been worn in WWII as below. Case back engraved, "Stewart S. Barthelmess 385123", a gift from his parents on his 21st birthday. Today, Bovet chronographs with provenance are highly regarded, offering not only mechanical excellence but also a tangible link to the past.
