History The first jeweller to establish itself on Place Vendôme, Boucheron was a pioneer in many horological and jewellery innovations. Frédéric Boucheron, the brand’s founder, was among the first to champion the wristwatch as early as the mid-19th century. The Reflet, born in 1947, was the Maison’s first major “popular” watchmaking success, at a time when Boucheron was still run by the founder’s descendants.
