Blancpain Villeret 0035

Description

Villeret Minute Repeater Automatic 0035 c. 1990

A very good example of one of Blancpain's neo-vintage masterpieces. Released after the manually-wound minute repeater ref. 0033, this has a winding rotor to power the movement. Remarkably, it's only 34mm - a testament to Blancpain's ability to miniaturise traditionally large complications into a small package. The automatic winding system increased the movement's thickness to 4.85mm. It was the world's first automatic minute repeater. Though not considered one of the original Six Masterpieces, the 0035 was the most expensive of all the complications at the time, second only to the Automata. This example has a warm patina on the case and bracelet. This example will be fully serviced prior to delivery.
