A marksman's watch by Paul Blancpain (Villeret) for the Swiss Federal Marksmen's Festival in Fribourg in 1881, with a finely engraved back cover depicting an allegorical representation of the Stans Agreement of 1481. Gilt movement with compensated balance and Breguet overcoil. Notes Enamel dial intact. Movement gummed up. Illustration worn.
