Presenting the Blancpain La Brassus GMT Complete Calendar in Platinum. This is a very special and rare watch in the market. First off, It is extremely heavy for it's size. At 42mm, it weighs more then any Platen watch we have ever had in our possession (not on a bracelet), even watches that are 45mm and up. It is also elegant and has the heritage of Blancpain, one of the oldest and most distinguished watchmakers in the world. This watch is in amazing condition and comes on a brand new OEM alligator strap and is on a Platinum deployment buckle as well. The complications are what shines in the La Brassus collection within Blancpain. This is a very complicated watch with a circular date, moon phase, month, day and even a GMT hand, all very easy to recognize at quick glance. The watch is also rare in that it is complete with the correct oversize box, bits, card (page in the book not filled in), and all that one would get when purchasing new. The inner pillow was rotting away so we discarded it and included a generic black pillow instead. The watch is in amazing condition with a perfect crystal and near perfect case. Platinum is very dense and heavy and also, very hard. It holds up much better than steel or gold but is quite significant on the wrist. All functions as they should as well as all the pushers. The watch had a last retail price of $54,600 and is being offered for a mere fraction of that price. They only made 200 of these world wide and this one is also an excellent number.
