He passed about 8 years ago, but, I was able to hold onto a small handful of his watches. Unfortunately, due to chaotic circumstances surrounding his passing, I was unable to locate the papers and original documentations for his watches, nor could I avoid the fact that some of the watches suffered minor cosmetic damages (some more than others). However, this was among his prized possessions- a Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Chronograph Flyback, one of Blancpain’s authentic diver’s watches, with its 45 mm steel case, mechanical/automatic movement, ft. black Sapphire bezel and still displaying all beautiful features in and around the dial. SEE PHOTOS for details. As for the flaws, indeed yes, there are two cosmetic: 1) one missing pusher, and 2) a missing link and pin on the steel bracelet. A classic black strap could replace this bracelet beautifully. Importantly also, the watch will certainly require a recalibrating and servicing by either Blancpain or a trusted repair servicer to return it to full working order. All being said, I’m selling this watch as is, albeit without papers. This model generally retails from $21k- $24k in excellent condition and with all documentations. After DILIGENT research, and considering its minor flaws, I am asking for $8,775 OBO.
