Inspired by the 1940s
Bell & Ross created the vintage collection as a tribute to the aviators of the 1940s, who were the first professionals to consider the wristwatch as a tool in the service of their mission.
Each line in the vintage collection is distinguished by its finish, but all vintage watches share common features in terms of inspiration, shape and movements:
- The classically shaped round case is reminiscent of vintage wristwatches, with ergonomics adapted to the comfort requirements of the modern man.
- The ultra-curved crystal is reminiscent of vintage glass. Unlike the original, it is made of sapphire, a highly resistant material, using advanced techniques.
- The sleek dial design, inspired by on-board clocks, optimizes legibility.
- A choice of two high-quality Swiss movements: an automatic hours, minutes and seconds version (br 123) and a chronograph version (br 126).
The original vintage line
The original vintage models are re-editions of the watches worn by aviators in the 1940s, in a modern version that revives the soul of the original models. The case is in satin-finish steel, while two dial colors evoke the style of that era in their own way:
beige dial: the vintage spirit is in full force in this model, whose beige dial and hands recall the uniforms of the pilots of the era. Contrasting with the beige dial, the black numerals and hour-markers offer perfect legibility. A connoisseur's model to enter the legend with sobriety and originality.
Condition of the watch: very good except for a few micro-scratches on the bracelet, this watch comes directly from the first owner, well maintained, no scratches on the glass and the amplitude is excellent, in short, nothing to be expected,
