The case of the TMT is stainless steel with a Titanium Carbide (TiC) coating. As a COSC certified chronometer, the Endurance has undergone intense testing for guaranteed precision. The movement uses cold temperature resistance oil to ensure effective timekeeping in sub-zero temperatures. The special oil blend guarantees reliable functionality in a temperature range from –45°C to 80°C. The TMT features a patented mechanical thermometric indication (range: from -35°C to 45°C), 16 micro tritium gas tubes on hour, minute and second hands and dial for continuous night reading capability, 5,000Gs shock resistance and an anti-magnetic rating of 4,800A/m.
