Audemars Piguet Ultra-Thin Stainless Steel Automatic ref. 53507 Vintage
Rare and elegant Audemars Piguet ultra-thin automatic dress watch, reference 5273.
Quintessentially pure in it’s design and appearance, the ref. 5273 fits many occasions and remains an engineering feat.
Made around 1970, this watch is in exceptionally good and completely original condition.
It features a beautiful silver dial with signature and cursive Automatic, black stick baton hour markers and matching 'pencil' handset. Very clean and classic design in absolutely pristine condition.
The stainless steel case is sharp and shows little wear. Signed and numbered screw-down case back. The case measures 34mm (appearing larger on the wrist) and is thin at circa 6mm.
Iconic Caliber 2120 automatic movement (this is the same movement found in the original Royal Oak ref 5204 and also used by Patek Philippe in the Nautilus 3700), clean and running smoothly.
